System Requirements
Before installing IDpack Element, your computer must meet the following minimum system requirements:
System requirements:
| • | Windows 2000, XP, Vista & Windows 7 |
| • | Microsoft Internet Explorer |
| • | PC Pentium 4 - 1.2 GHz or higher recommended |
| • | 100 MB free space on hard disk |
If you intend to use a video input device:
| • | Microsoft DirectX 8.1or higher |
If you intend to use an external database with IDpack:
| • | Microsoft Access 2000 or higher |
Additional recommended features:
| • | A camera such as a Webcam, CamTracer (for high resolution pictures), Camcorder or any video device that supports TWAIN |
| • | 100 KB of free space on hard disk per picture (BMP) |
| • | A properly configured network |
| • | A printer: ID card printer, Inkjet, Laser, Zebra, Citizen or DYMO |
| • | A barcode reader (serial, Bluetooth, USB or keyboard) |
| • | A Magstripe reader HID from Magtek |
| • | A RFID reader from Omnikey HID |
 Note
We do not provide any support for the installation of devices such as printers, cameras or barcode readers. To install such devices properly, please refer to the manufacturer's instructions. We do not provide support for Windows operating system or Microsoft software.
