Dynamic Text Tool

text_db

When the Dynamic Text Tool is selected, you can add dynamic text to your badge by clicking at the desired position on the layout. A window appears that allows you to choose the database field in the clip0069 Linked to that will provide the text to be displayed, along with font type and size. The text will be imported from the database. Click OK when done. You can now resize and move the selected object.

The Autosize Text feature, enabled by default, will customize the text size to fit in the allotted space on the badge.

 Why is the icon beside the clip0069 Linked to in the Dynamic Text Tool screen grayed out?

 This is the Custom Dynamic Text Tool. For more information, please refer to the Custom Dynamic Text Tool section.

The Linked to List is the one you defined in the Badge Setupclip0058 Field Definitions menu.
