Signature pad / Fingerprint / Magstripe

This section allows you to select the settings for your signature pad, fingerprint reader and magstripe device.

Signature Pad Device

•Signature Pad

Select the signature pad attached to your computer. IDpack Professional supports all signature pads from Topaz Systems and all signature pads from Interlink Electronics.

Fingerprint Device

•Fingerprint Reader

Select the Fingerprint Reader attached to your computer. IDpack Professional supports all IDgem and IDlite devices from Topaz Systems, the ePad-i.d. from Interlink Electronics and the U.are.U 4000 Sensor from DigitalPersona.

Magstripe Device

•Magstripe Reader

Select the Magstripe Reader attached to your computer. IDpack Professional supports the Mini Swipe Card Reader USB from Magtek.

Magstrip Reader Testing

•When you have a Magstripe Reader selected in the Magstripe Reader pull-down menu, you will be able to swipe a card and all the content of the tracks will be shown to you. This is useful for testing your Magstripe reader, but also for reading the content of the tracks to make sure that it has been encoded correctly by IDpack.
