Compact Database
The Compact Database function is used to reduce the size of the Microsoft Access database used by IDpack Business.
If you are using IDpack Business on a network with multiple computers accessing the same database, Compact Database will not work. All IDpack Producer and Microsoft Access software must be closed on all computers, except the one on which the database will be compacted.
 Note
For some reason, we have noticed that this function doesn't work on some computers. If you try this and an error message pops up, it means it cannot be done. No damage will be done to the database. Microsoft Access should be installed on the computer to make it work. If after installing Access it still doesn't work in IDpack Producer, open the database directly in Access and try to compact the database with Access.
