Quick Find
You must first open IDpack Designer, and in  Tools  Badge Setup, click on the Producer Setup tab. You will see a  pull-down menu labeled Quick Find in which you can tell IDpack Producer which field to search. By default it is the Serial Number field but you can enter any field you wish.
When you open IDpack Producer and enter a value in Quick Find and click the GO button or press enter, IDpack will look for the first entry in the Badge List and open the Badge Information tab with that badge. If no badge was found a message box will open telling you that no entry was found.
This search cannot be made for a name or any field that can has two or more entries with the same value. You must use a field that is unique, such as the Serial Number or Permanent Code (if used by your organization) or another primary key in your database.
 Note
Many companies use they own numeric code to identify employees (Permanent Code, ID number, CIP, Employee Code, etc.) and you can use that code with the Quick Find by changing the default value to that field.
