Extended Find
The Extended Find function is the most powerful search tool in IDpack Professional. It's very useful for refining the Badge List so as to get only a portion of the database.
How does it work?
| • | First click  Edit  Extended Find or the Extended Find icon in the toolbar. |
| • | Select the field you wish to search in the Search In  pull-down menu. |
| • | Set the conditions you want in the Condition pull-down menu; either Greater than, Less than or Between is used for dates or numeric values. |
| • | Enter a value in the Look for field if needed and the and field (if available). |
| • | Press Enter or click the Add button to confirm the criteria you have just selected. |
IDpack will rebuild the Badge List with the new criteria you just added. You can create a maximum of 100 criteria to refine the Badge List. Each one will be applied to the list at the same time.
To remove criteria from the list, click the  next to the one you want to remove. IDpack will then rebuild the Badge List without that criteria.
To reset the Badge List to normal, just click the Extended Find icon in the toolbar and IDpack Professional will reload the original list.
Once you have refined the Badge List using the Extended Find, you have 3 choices:
