The following section will show you how to print your first badges with IDpack Professional. Before completing the following steps, you must have successfully designed a badge using IDpack Designer. To do this, please refer to the Quick Start section in the IDpack Designer instructions.
Steps:
| 1. | Start IDpack Producer. To do this, you should click on your Windows Start Menu  Programs IDpack, then click on IDpack Producer; |
| 2. | You should now see a splash screen. If you have the Trial Version, click Try and select IDpack Professional, or if you have already purchased IDpack Professional click Register and enter your registration number. You won't need to do this if you have already done it in IDpack Designer; |
| 3. | You should now see the screen Welcome to the Producer Wizard for IDpack Professional; |
| 4. | If you do not see this screen, proceed to Step 9; |
| 5. | Click Next to proceed to your first setup screen; |
| 6. | On this screen you must choose your capture device if you have one. If you have a webcam and it is properly installed, you should find it in the Camera pull-down menu; |
| 7. | When you have configured your camera, click Next and then click Finish to finish using the Wizard; |
| 8. | IDpack Producer is now open. On the menu select  File Open; |
| 9. | Go to the directory c:\badgelayout that you created. Please refer to the Quick Start section of IDpack Designer if you have not yet created a badge; |
| 10. | Select the file name QuickStart.idp and click Open; |
| 11. | You are now ready to print your first badges. Click on Add Badge in the upper toolbar; |
| 12. | In the Add Badge screen, enter the information for the first badge and click OK; |
| 13. | If a webcam is properly installed, you should see an image. Click on Capture Picture to take a photo; |
| 14. | If a printer is properly installed, you should see the Print Badge button underneath the badge information. Click on it to print your ID card. |
Congratulations! You have produced your first badges. You can now take the time to go through the whole documentation concerning IDpack Designer and IDpack Producer and refine the process.
